Going to the Doctor

Your Nerves and Muscles

The doctor also likes to check your reflexes. He takes a soft rubber hammer and taps right below your knees and elbows. This can feel kind of funny but it doesn't hurt at all. When he does this your arms and legs will jump because your nerves automatically tell your brain to do that. Another reflex the doctor may check for is called the Babinski reflex. He will stroke the soles of your feet and it will make your toes curl up.
