Dreams In Our Sleep

Do you dream every night when you are sleeping? Well, as long as you're asleep you dream. Scientists have done many experiments on dreaming and sleep. They have found that there are two different kinds of sleep and dreaming.
When you first go to sleep your eyes do not move. Most people never remember any dreams from this kind of sleep. But later into the night Rapid Eye Movement dreaming or REM begins. During this time your eyes move very fast back and forth just like you were watching a favorite T.V. show. During this R.E.M. sleep is when you may have fantastic adventures or scary nightmares.
Another little tidbit about REM sleep is that your body needs a lot of it. If for some reason your REM sleep was interrupted several times in one night, you'll probably feel more tired and cranky the next day, also the next night you'll probably dream a lot more than usual. Every one from tiny babies to older adults dream each night.
