• Variolinum 30X - During an epidemic before an illness develops take one dose.
• Rus Tox  - 3-5 times daily for 2 days after contact with an infected child.
• Aconite - During the early stages when a child is feverish and anxious but the rash has not appeared. 
• Belladona - If the child has a high fever, red face and very hot skin. 
• Rus Tox - Give as soon as the spots appear and continue until they are all gone. 
• Sulfur - If there is phlegm, alternate this with Rus Tox.
