How to Make a Life-size Model of Your Body
Here is a cool project you
can do to find out more about your body.
Difficulty Level: average
Time Required: 30 minutes
Here's How:
- You will need a friend, large brown or white wrapping paper or plain newsprint, a felt
marker, scissors, and paints or colored markers
- Lay the paper down on the floor. It must be long enough so that you can lay down on it
and it fits every part of your body.
- Lay down on the paper and have your friend use the felt marker to trace around the
outline of your body.
- When the outline is finished get up and find your paints or markers
- Paint or draw in all of your organs.
- Label all of your body parts.
- If you want you can cut out your body and hang it up for everyone to see!
Tips:
- If you want you can make a separate body for each of your body systems,
the skeletal
system, digestive system, etc.
- For parents of preschoolers, this is a great activity just to get to know the outer
parts of the body, i.e. nose, hands, mouth, feet, etc.
